PROJETO 07

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has repeatedly been the backdrop for artistic manifestations.

The Cisjordan Wall is the canvas for the work of several international projects that seek, through painting and graffiti, to denounce the violation of Human Rights in that territory.

Take, for example, Banksy's various interventions on the same wall, which in his own words "turns Palestine into the largest open-air prison in the world."

Jorge Pereira brings us his approach to the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Making use of the iconography of American Pop Art, Pereira reflects on the strategy of continued and illegal occupation of Middle Eastern territories.
